Wooden Camera Elite Accessory System for the Sony Rialto Mini Released

Wooden Camera has released a new Accessory Collection for the Sony Rialto Mini (Sony VENICE Extension System Mini), expanding mounting and power options while preserving the compact footprint that makes the camera so useful in tight spaces. Let’s take a look.

Wooden Camera is well known for their product line – camera accessories that make life easier for filmmakers, i.e. the Elite Accessory System for Canon EOS C400, all the way down to Cine Mag ties to help in organizing your cables. Cages, power distribution plates, you name it, they make it! Now they’ve released modular accessories for the Sony Rialto Mini. Compact cage design

At the core of the system is a low-profile cage that provides mounting points around the body, including a cutout for the filter drop. Its two-piece build lets users remove the lower section to preserve a low optical height, while the open frame encourages airflow. The cage also includes integrated ribs and blind holes that add mounting flexibility while protecting the camera body. An ARCA foot on the base ties into Wooden Camera’s ARCA ecosystem and other ARCA-standard supports, making it easier to move the rig between baseplates, dovetails, or quick-release systems already in use. Weighing only 225.9g (0.5 lbs) and measuring 87.2×50.7×131 mm (3.43×2.0×5.16 in), the cage keeps the build lightweight and small.

Mounting and extension options

To broaden compatibility, the collection includes cage extensions in two forms: a Top Cheese Plate or a Top Dual Rod Clamp. These allow filmmakers to mount accessories or lightweight rod setups without blocking the filter slot. A removable PL support lines up with the PL adapter’s optical height and works with ARCA base plates, but can also function independently of the cage. Strategically placed angled ⅜″-16 mounts on the front corners support bolt-on rod clamps and other accessories, reducing interference between motors, handles, and the lens mount.

Power and rear plate solutions

The new rear cheese plate provides options for attaching the Rialto Power Strip in multiple positions and includes an extension for mounting Micro Battery Plates. These additions make it possible to power accessories directly from the rig while keeping the setup small and balanced.

The Wooden Camera Elite Accessory System for the Sony Rialto Mini, which includes the full range of mounting and power options, is available now for $1,850.
